I've written several articles and book reviews about the Giants and/or baseball in general for a web zine called EEEEEE!.
I made two visits to the new park before the start of the 2000 season. First I attended "Say Hey Day," March 31, 2000 where the Willie Mays statue was unveiled and then the "Walk in the Park" Open House on April 9, 2000. Pac Bell Park is a beautiful place to watch a ballgame.
The first two pics were taken at the Willie Mays statue unveiling on March 31, 2000. There's a shot of the entrance to Pac Bell Park, and the statue itself.
The rest were taken at the open house. As you can see, I took shots from various parts of the park, starting with the field view from the first and then third base lines, then then a couple shots from the upper deck. You get some incredible views in this park, as you can tell.
